This is Mao. He's the newest addition to our home. I'm not a cat person myself. I prefer to love cats that live with someone else but Heather has a soft spot for kittens. And I have a soft spot for pets that need good homes. Isn't he cute? Cats are really cute when they're this tiny, right?

The people down the street offered him to us awhile ago and we declined but then a few weeks later Heather found him outside after dark by himself (he was approx. 8 weeks old then) roaming around my Aunt's yard so we decided to keep him. It turned out to be a good thing for the little guy because the vet said that he'd been malnourished and he has an infection in both eyes.
